 About the Book

Cleary explored the relationship of abusive parenting to criminal behavior and studied self-control and the role of opportunity and routine in victim selection. Her data suggested that in-treatment sex offenders differed from the other two samples in levels of self-control, and that available targets and lack of guardianship played an important role in victim selection.
